This is my very first post in this part of CoinTalk as I finally made the decision to break into World Coins. Without further due here is my first lot of world coins in my inventory. If anyone has an interest in these coins see my listing in the for sale section
an upgrade. 1987 Portugal 20 Escudos. I liked the compass. it's gonna be added to my "coins with stars" collection. sellers pics: a cheap coin. I like this compass design.
A nice Australian silver piece for about 10 US. A scarcer "double bar" variety exists. http://www.cruzis-coins.com/50c/1966.html
1943 Newfoundland Small Cent; picked this up as it was an unattributed wide date variety( got it cheap), photos of the obverse show some discolouration (cheek, chin, neck) that isn't as apparent in hand; all the horizontal lines are from the plastic. Anyway, still I still like it

Thee Avatar big tree jr. coin........1929 Lebanon 10 piasters, silver. sellers pics: I will get the 50 piasters when I save up some money for a decent grade. they have 1 on Ebay now, but I am not paying $99.00 for it. nope.

Those two coins, from Slovakia and Latvia, do in a way circulate today too. This is a commemorative €2 coin from Slovakia featuring Constantine (Cyril) and Methodius. The second one is the Latvian €2 circulation piece. Both are mint/central bank images, but I simply want to show how similar they are ... Christian
They are very similar. I didn't know there were so many different euro coins until recently. I've not started collecting any though, I try to only buy silver.
