got three new foreign pieces today. a 1957 czechoslovakia 10 korun, moravian brotherhood. 150,000 mintage and some melted by national bank. my biggest silver coin to date, a 1956 mexico 10 peso, hidalgo. and a 1932 india 1/12 anna. how do you guys get such good pics of your coins? do i just need a better camera?

When 6-7yrs old My mom had me dig her flower bed up. I found one very much like this 1 in the soil. but 1774 maybe worn more. that was 1 of my 1st World coins in my collection 56yrs ago.

 

I saw Derick' coin 1943 D 3 Pence, i thought that i had one..

1943 D...3 Pence..Australian.(nice little die crack on rev. A)(looks like Derick's coin has one on the rev. R)

 

Also have a 1943 3 Pence..Australian....

 

With this coin I can close out my 20th century Chilean peso collection for all years at best grades I could find. As common as they are, grades are normally low. Only three of these graded by NGC.

1774 ! So it was still fairly new then when you were young eh ? only kidding mind !

I know a lot of the 1775 halfpennies are contemporary counterfeits like the machin mills stuff but It doesn't stop me from keeping them ! Infact It makes me want to collect contemporaries and evasions ! I have x3 variations of the GEORGE RULES NORTH WALES 1/2 pennies now and they literally were pennies on eBay !

I've stopped posting in here so much since I only buy colonial stuff I feel daft adding the same coins to 2 different threads..

I will have to find the cayenne colonie 1789 A 2 sous I've not long got. Simply because it is world coin and not in my real collection but I really like them.. keep up the good work guys I'm seeing some awesome coins I could quite easily start collecting. Trust me its taking a lot if will power !
