1968 (Ottawa) 10 Cents The Queen has some Errors on her, and they list as follows: Double queen's back, Double forehead, and new Errors are as follows: Double back of queen's head, Double lips and chin, that runs from the top of her neck, right down to the front of her bust, straight under the bottom, to the end of her bust 1 of 2
Hey, Look, a new SPHINX, maybe EGYPT will put her next to theirs, and HONOR the QUEEN of ENGLAND :hatch:
Nice !:thumb:! 10 Ore is small! I think that why you can still find MS grade in 1890 + 1940 up their so small they will get in a seam in desk draw or any type area semi protected.
Not much of a crowd at the TNA Show today in Fort Worth. Not much selection for my type set either. I was only able to add a few. This is not really a coin. Not sure what it is. I guess I'll call it a medal. Only cost me $2 but it is so tiny and my wife thinks it's cute. Maybe someone will know what it is. Hard to focus, but the reverse reads Maximillino Emperador and the Obverse reads Imperio Mexicano. The edge is reeded and the "coin" is not magnetic. Not sure what type of metal. Silver?
I like that super small coin next to that dime. what is the size millimeter wise ? 6-8mm ? I have the Panama pill 10mm. cool buys.
10mm. My research finds that these were privately minted around 1949. They were minted in gold from 8 to 24 karats. Also gold plated in 22k. Some were brass and some appeared to be silver. Mine weighs .53gm. So assuming pure silver(not) it would be worth about, what, .37 melt? Getting ready to retire now. They are a token, not a coin.
This looks to be a wedding token. Here's a page about them: http://www.calgoldcoin.com/mexico.htm Cheers, Roman.
you made my day with these hand coins. 1 of the topical/themed coins I collect are "coins with hands". thanks for posting them. awesome coins. are they both from U.K. United Kingdom ??? let me know in a PM thanks, Craig.
question. do you have other Japanese gold coins to show us or do you just collect foreign gold coins ?
