This one arrived today. I picked up this restrike Guldiner struck in 1953 in last week's Heritage auction. I can't afford the "real deal" from 1486.
I probably paid too much, but I picked up a very nice 1935 Swiss 20 Franc yesterday. I picked it out of a group of 5 after noticing something odd about the date. It looks like the 1 may be doubled or repunched to me:
Here 1 more I have 3-4 more to post a semi nice 1873A 10 Centimes is 1 I have not had time to do Photo on. this 1819 20c is an a Italian country till 1920 I think. still read on this 1 . Mower has issues like each spring:dead-horse:  but blade cut thru deck this time.
I think its a low relief, I looked at the coin side-ways, and the medallions are just as high as the inside rims
Forgot I recieved this today too I've long been a fan of it but has always sold for alot more than I've been willing to pay.. Bit like the st.helena 50p !
1855 Frankfurt commemorative that commemorates 300yrs of Religious Peace. I needed this one for my Frankfurt commem. set. I need two more commem's and the set is finished.
Well US coins are foreign coins to me so I`ll post a few along with some British and world coins. I went to a rural farm auction where many antiques were listed, a box containing about 1000 coins, only one other bidder who dropped out at £9 so they were mine for £10 Lots of Large Cents, some are soaking in olive oil, out of the ones pictured the 1819 is tops. The British and world coins were varied and nice too, an Edward VII Indian Rupee in AU was my favorite.
