That is a sweet pick up, nice find petro! Here is my newest, I'm pretty sure you saw it a couple of days ago on another thread.
Beautiful coin , I'm a US Type collector but have been branching off into Mexican Pesos , but would like to get some European coins like yours , I think Austria has some great designs , love that double headed eagle on the reverse .
2 lovely coins but the Austrian just takes it for me
Love the detail on the Australian Florin! Very good coins!
I got a Type-I and Type-II 1968 25 Peso pair. Now to find the elusive Type-III. (Best part of this, I sold two Type-I coins two days ago for $4 more than the Type-I/II pair... then again, my old ones were in MUCH better condition than these new ones... but it's always nice to make $4 swap on spot after shipping.)
The fllorin is just lovely, a very lovely piece indeed. Great find!
I have to agree, it is a really nice coin
And here is mine...
Siberian man is that one a Piedford ?
Here is a nice Canadian commemorative that came in yesterday. :smile
Bahamas 1966 15 cents from alex (coinmaster1)
Keep 'em coming guys!
Thanks for the compliments on the Austrian coin. It is easily among my top 5 favorite coins in my collection. As I've said before some crud on nice VF-Au coins really gives it some character and beauty
The detail on this coin is amazing. The minute details on the reverse are beautiful, but the obverse is just a stunner. The beard and hair, but especially the eye...it looks like he has a real one lol.
I like your Irish Euro, 1066merlin!
just bought this beauty for 16 euros......
Oh yeah... Merlin will drool over that Icelandic coin.
Since the criteria is simply your latest foreign coin, I submit a more humble and less cared for piece. I like the reverse design. It is considered by some as one of the best designs used on a North American coin.
Very nice Early Confederation coin. Just a great Vicky. This one is just for "SaltySam" my Hapaha. I just love them.
Appreciate the photograph. I don't see these 1883 pieces that often. I would like to get the complete five coin official issue, but the odd dated 1847 cent piece has such a limited mintage. You wouldn't have a spare one of those in your collection would you? :>) Unfortunately it's also one of the most expensive US Penney's around. Even more so than the 1909-S in the better grades.
Still waiting for my Philippine Centavo in the mail.
Sorry Salty, this is my only Hawaian. But, do not dispair. An British aquentance of mine and seller (Numismatty) in England was able to get that rare penny, you are looking for over in Euroland for around $4. What a steal he made. He was not sure, what it was when he bought it. When he found out...well Happy city over in Jolly Ole. So it can still happen.
