Just one from me for this decade. 1583 Saxony "Don't call tails" Thaler of Friedrich Wilhelm I and Johannes:
Elizabeth I 6th issue shilling mm. Crescent (rev. over Scallop), so dated 1587-9 but likely earlier rather than later given the overmark. Elizabeth I 6th issue quarter angel with mm. Crescent over Scallop. Fairly horrible, but excessively rare.
This can be for 80s or 90s Malta/ Order of Knight's of St. John AV Zecchino ND Valetta Mint Grandmaster Hugo Loubens de Verdalle 1582-95
One I will added from 1580s Ostfriesland AV Goldgulden 1588 Emden Mint Edzard II & Johann I 1561-91 Title under HRE Rudolf II
Very rough shape, but I think it fits the decade: Venice 1 Sesino 1595-1605 And one more: Papal States, 1600, Clement VIII
Elizabeth I shilling bust 6B mm. Hand (1590-2) 1592 sixpence mm. Tun, obv. over Hand over Crescent Elizabeth I 6th issue halfpenny, mm. O over Anchor (1600). Anything with mms Anchor or O is rare. Elizabeth I halfgroat mm. Key, obv. over Woolpack (1595-8)
A really poorly struck coin....as is common for these. Piacenza/ Parma/ Duchy AV Quadrupla (2 Doppie) 1595 Piacenza Mint Struck as postumus issue for Alessandro Farnese died in 1592 Under his son/ Ranuccio I Farnese 1592-1614
@Chris B the intricacy and skill of the engraver for the reverses is something to behold. They are beautiful coins.
