Another Lion Dollar - 1664 Deventer. Tougher mint and my latest dated Lion Dollar (no 1690s Zutphen or Nijmegen in my collection, sadly), so I'm done posting these.

Most of my coins are in very modest condition, but here's what I have:

1676 double reverse pattern shilling in pewter. Peck 490. Peck on p.134 notes that the Roberts collection (c.1800) manuscript said that 6 pieces were in the possession of Mr Halsey, wrapped in paper on which was written 'Tynne 6oz., Lead 4.' Presumably done at the time of striking.


Charles II 1675/3/2 halfpenny. This is the piece that was previously slabbed NGC 1673 MS65, though was obviously 5 over 3 to the naked eye. A high res image also shows a trace of an underlying 2. 5 over 3 over 2 is not recorded.
