About 35 years ago I discovered my very first Mint Error which was a huge lamination on a Wheat Cent..
It was dark and dirty and I didn't know better. I used Ajax to clean it to a beautiful shine! Years later when I figured out how to submit my coins to NGC it was attributed as an error but a Details grade for cleaning
This is it
never clean your coins... it will kill there value. A very shiny coin does not make it worth more (unless it is original luster).
