Bought a bag of world coins a while ago, finally got around to posting pics. It is very light (1.5 grams) and looks asian. Country, value, composition, etc. are welcome.
10 Fen (Chiao), aluminum, catalogue Y12, from the japanese puppet state of Manchukuo, China. Minted 1940-43. I believe this coin to be from 1941 (obverse lower text from right reads K'ang Te 8 = 1941). Value: f: 1.50 vf: 4.00 xf: 6.00
Price is way too low on that particular coin. Reckon it should be at least 3-8x of what kvarterto has quoted.
I just sold a 1941 Manchuokuo 10 Fen on Ebay (VF or so). The first time I listed it starting at 99c I had no bids. It sold for $2.26 when I relisted. I too thought it would sell for more like $10 due to the difficulty finding anything from Manchukuo.
