Always loved this piece, and this particular example has a wonderful toning. It's also a fairly common piece that can be acquired by any mid range collector. 1560 Queen Elizabeth I Shilling from Great Britain. My best foreign coin, and one of the favorites of all my coins. There is luster underneath the toning, which is far more colorful than I can capture. Reds, oranges, and some yellows around the edges; light blue, very old silver look in the centers. Well struck except for the small portion, very well centered and full planchet. This is a choice piece.
Here's one of my few; Swiss 5 Franc, .835 silver, .4027 asw. The start of my birth year silver worl coin collection. Switzerland also happens to be the country of my ancestors.
Here's an interesting coin. I won it in a contest..like this one, lol. It's silver, and they look like it was hammered. This is because it was actually struck with dies, but they used the dies until they literally fell apart! Interesting coin The Batzen was a coin minted in Bern Switzerland from the 15th century up to the mid 19th century. The Batzen is named for the bear (Batz, meaning bear) depicted on the obverse of the coin. The Batzen was originally minted in silver, but by the mid-1800’s it was struck in billon. The 2½ Batzen and the 5 Batzen was always minted in silver. Bern’s monetary system, called the Batzen, was worth 4 Kreuzers
One of the best-looking coins I have ever seen: German 3 mark, 1913, Defeat of Napoleon commemorative. Awesome coin! Edited: NOT eligible for the contest as it is NOT the example from my collection, still learning how to take a half-way decent picture of a coin!

No, it is not, and my post has been edited to clearly reflect that as so there's no further confusion.
1891 Spanish Peseta purchased from a local auction. I picked it up because I thought it had some nice toning, but I am still working on my photography so only a little of the color comes out here. I think I need to diffuse the lighting more.
