I eventually realized it was a marketing ploy. If you pay less than the slabber&#039;s estimated value of a coin, you feel like you&#039;ve gotten a deal. Then you can plug it into your set and the registry tells you that your collection is &quot;worth&quot; x-amount, but you paid much less for it! Yay you! Aren&#039;t you a savvy collector?
