    R: TR POT COS II, Felicitas standing left, caduceus in left, cornucopia in right.
    Rome Mint, 137 A.D.

    Thats a very nice denarius Mat , congrats.

    Unfortunely Aelius never became emperor , he died a couple of months before Hadrian , who then appointed Antoninus Pius instead.

    @Bing Yeah I have a similar example. At least I think I do, given the portrait and what I can make out of the legends.

    @Mat I nominate this coin for deal of the day. For real. I haven’t even bothered looking for an Aelius denarius because I thought there was no way they could be in my price range.
