Many things beyond the typical Rosie the Riveter in scope. I particularly liked the stories about the fliers whose job it was to ferry planes throughout the Asian and Pacific theatres. They all spoke so enthusiastically about the freedoms they had at the time coming out of their hometowns or small towns and going off to do their service. They spoke about their wrinkled clothes and meager possessions from life on the move. The honor they have finally received was very well deserved and the forthcoming Mint medal is a pretty cool design to honor them as well![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
