Nice find ! I paid $700 for this set in 2012 . Not sure what the low leaf goes for today alone though.
there was some discussion when these were first found on how it could have happened, one story was that a disgruntled mint employee made the cuts on the dies, i forget what the other explanations were, but i think there were a few,,,

I don't even know if they know. Ebay shows lower than $700 for my set. So, I'll sit on mine as well .
