Will this 1889-cc $1 grade clean or cleaned?

    NK, I just signed for it...and I keep looking at it to make sure the the "CC" is there!

    If that's a vf graded coin, you should not expect to see any significant luster.

    You can see luster in the high points of the relief, but I'd actually think it was cleaned, due to the significantly different look from the fields and the incuse protected areas of the relief.

    The above pictured coin is a VAM-5a that is how the CC is supposed to look. No offence but, If I had a nickel for every time I've heard "doesn't that MM look off" without a person doing any type of research or knowing what they are talking about I'd be $2.45 richer ;)
