Will the Baseball HOF silver coins sell out by the end of April?

If I buy extras to sell, I’m generally in a position to wait for the value to realize it’s potential. Some of these flippers are so over leveraged on their purchases that they have to sell quickly, which floods the market. The 2012 S-Mint AtB rolls are a case in point. Acadia and Denali were the only ones left in quantity at the mint when the other 3 sold out unexpectedly. So, the flippers have large quantities of these 2 and are stumbling over themselves on eBay to get rid of them at their cost. The other 3 have increased nicely. Another heavily flipped coin set was the 2011 25th ASE set, which still has way too many on the market for the mintage.

I don't know about price level, but I think these will always have a value above the original mint price. Two things about baseball. #1 its still the second most popular sport. #2 Those with incomes above $100,000 are some of its strongest fans.

You’d think the mint/congress would get a clue from the way the 3 different HOF coins sold. They should offer a clad and/or a SILVER half dollar.

 

Much like the gold HOF coins, I am amazed at the enthusiasm for the silver dollars. I am glad to see a sellout. There have been very few sellouts in the modern commemorative era and it is a nice collector treat.

 

You're more likely to see a 7 and an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament than this sell out.

Have people started getting their Silver Commems yet? I ordered the 1st day(later in the day) and haven't heard squat yet from the Mint, except that they shipped my wonderful bags.

 

Unc's are in stock and reserved Pacecar. Check boxes in place too.

 

The Mint told me that this week everything is shut down because of quarterly inventory. NO coins were shipped this week. They will start shipping again next week. So, that is why no one has gotten any coins this week. I expect there will be an influx of deliveries next week. You would think they would plan around this....

 

My '14 Proof was shipped Tuesday and arrived today, along with my 3 Mint bags.(all in separate boxes)LOL

As a side bar I went to the Philadelphia Mint today and they DO NOT have any BBHOF coins.

Did anyone else here, that got their card dinged today, also get a shipping date - I did not. Don't tell me they're grabbing the money and waiting until after their inventory to ship
