[EDIT: I typed that I'd only buy it if priced as a typical ASE, then crack it out, but I missed that the OP said it was MS70. I certainly wouldn't want to crack out an MS70, but if shopping for one I'd pass because of the below reason.] 2020 was such a mess in politics and overall, that I'd rather not have pictures of anyone involved tied to coins that are supposed to give me joy. This has nothing to do with picking sides; I'd feel the same whether it was a Biden label or Trump label. I also feel this way about bullion pieces with recent politicians in the design. If a strictly melt, no premium deal came up and I was looking for bullion, I'd put that distaste aside to buy the metal content. However, they would be tagged for "first out" when the time comes to sell. That is just me.
I saw a gold Hall of Fame baseball coin with Nolan Ryan’s signature on the slab. I wanted it. He’s my favorite pitcher
Ugh, let's keep partisan differences out of our coin labels, please. This can't end well. I suggest whomever thought this would be a good idea be forced to endure a sunny weekend indoors watching nonstop reruns of both major party political conventions, from start to finish, on repeat.
Short and sweet. I think it's nothing more than a weak, poorly thought out, marketing stunt. NAV and diminished market appeal.
I thought the T**** holder set a bad precedent that is now moving forward with a B**** holder. Need to end the cult of personality and get back to coins, IMO.
