Wildwinds shut down?

I bought a Cladius imp today and tried wild winds to verify it, It says site cannot be reached.

I will post the coin later after I photo it.

It is not down (or at least it wasn't when I checked just now).

I used to have the problem all the time. The fix is outlined below. The reason for the problem is beyond my ability to explain (Dane explains it in the Forum link), and for a long time I resisted changing my computer solely to be able to access Wildwinds, but I did eventually change the DNS address and everything works fine.

Once in a while my computer resets the DNS without me doing anything, and then I get the "cant' be reached" message for Wildwinds, so I manually enter the DNS again.

Here's how you do it (instructions for Mac, but it is similar with a PC):

Network > Advanced > DNS

Click "+" to add IPv4 or IPv6 addresses
Type 8.8.8.8
Click the "+" again
Type 8.8.4.4
Click apply or OK or whatever to make the changes stick

Yep, had the problem before and did as @TIF outlined above. No problems since.
