    I just saw your questions.

    Both quarters have bright white reverses and are in NGC slabs. I don't know if anyone dipped them before I bought them. They were bright when I put them in the Whitman folder.

    When I noticed the nice toning on the 1958 quarter, I flipped it over in the Whitman folder. However, the reverse never took on the colors of the obverse. I might attibute this to the fact that we got a new furnace around the same time.
