Me too as none of mine matched yours. I'll get a few more and post what I see. ALSO let's not split hairs. Worn dies and strike characteristics can make the letters appear clos or far so in the end, we may need to just eliminate all the "M's" and stick with close or wide. We'll see.

You really need to have a wide AM quarter to see the medium AM to compare it with. And the close are easy to see next to the other ones

The OP is looking at State Quarters not the older type with eagle revers.

It's another thing with the eagle reverses. See earlier post for rev type A,B, C.

Add that to my list. Post under my list that I posted. We are trying to compile a list of wide a M quarters

I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer about the state quarters. That is what I am referring to.

It's likely more than one hub was used for the series. There were at least 6 obverse hubs for the eagle clad quarter and at least 14 reverse hubs.

Looks like a medium to me. Hard to tell exactly. Turn it upside down and look at it that direction. If the AM is really close or touching, it would be a close. Look at your wide and compare the two on width. That will tell you.

That is very good to know. It could explain the difference in width of the AM's.
