One of these days I will own a matte proof Wheatie! I have always loved old matte proofs, though most I have seen are foreign coins. Maybe when student loans get paid off!
A common Wheatie, but I still love getting these in change! Always makes my day. I save every Wheatie I get.
It is now Thursday, but I spent all day in town yesterday for a doctor appointment. Got this one in change yesterday.
@CREATIVECRHUNTER I sold this one a year and a half ago, Saw it at the Denver coin expo last month. It's holding it's value, I bought it for 90, It is now at $345. Based on strike this coin takes a major hit even though it is amazing on luster contact and eye appeal. It still sits with a very low grade, but sells for way above it's grade. Just think if it had a CAC sticker?
