Why won't the US Treasury redesign the $2 bill for features for the visually impaired

That is your opinion, but even the Reagan family doesn't want him to replace anyone on current coins or currency. Something to keep in mind, the 2 presidents you mentioned died in office.

If Republicans want a Republican president on a coin/note then I'd recommend they lobby for Teddy Roosevelt. Better president, liked by more of the public, and dead long enough to not be controversial. There was actually a push to get him on the obverse of the 2010-2019 National Parks quarters. I think that would have been cool. Too late now though.:( He would make a good choice for a $200 bill.

Those were taken out of circulation. They didn't want notes that large in circulation. $2 isn't out of circulation, it just isn't very popular and thus circulates less. I think if they restyled it and took the $1 bill out of circulation that would change.

That's your political opinion. Some people have different ones. You're not going to convice me otherwise and nobody will likely convice you otherwise. So let's just leave it at that.

So we're going by Presidents who died in office where is Harrison, Taylor, Garfield, McKinley*, Harding at then?

Yeah, it some people's opinion that Reagan should appear. Yours is that it should not. Nobody's changing anybody's mind on CT so why don't we just chill.

McKinley did appear on the $500 bill.
