Close, but most of the high price push came from speculators who EXPECTED a ton of Wall Street money to come into the market. A few coin portfolios for wall street investors were set up but eventually the steet decided NOT to invest in the coin market and without that money infusion the market crashed. And when the coin funds were liquidated a couple did ok, but most of them liqidated AFTER the market crash and they didn't do welll at all.
I think that a significant portion of the "new blood" will be attracted to the traditional accepted collectibles. We have a number of eminent YN's on this forum that specialize in the older issues.....
