It's just buisness as usual. People tend to run out and buy whatever is hot at the time it is hot. Many toys that are seen by kids right before Christmas sell for fantastic amounts of money. Then a few weeks later, not hardly one being sold. People have made replica cars when they thought idiots would flock to buy them and they did not long ago. Remember the Beanie Babies?

What I get kick out of is coins worth less than a few dollars in slabs. I've seen some that would be worth one dollar in a slab. Then too how about those replated 1943 Lincoln Cents. I have fun collecting those. They come in platings of Copper, Tin, Zinc, Chrome and even one that might be Silver. But why replate a coin worth $0.25 and then sell it for $0.25? And that is what they sell for around here. Only the Copper Plated ones sell for over one dollar. I suspect that people just think with what is termed fuzzy thinking at times.

I always remember a shoe repair store in the center of Chicago with a sign in the window that said "FINE CIGARS SOLD HERE" Repair shoes. Wonder what those cigars smelled like. It's all jusy buisness.
