Why ICGS or NGC etc. when CAC can overrule there grading.

    First I would like to apologize to the op for this thread getting hijacked by going from a CAC thread to a gradeflation thread.


    I think gradeflation would be accepted alot better if they (TPG's) would be a bit more consistant with all coins not just the ones that have better eye appeal.

    Example #1: 1886-o morgans, nawlins mints are known for weak strikes yet how many 86-o's in AU58 holders should be in MS holders??????
    Add in 84-s,96-0,97-o to that mix aswell.

    Example #2: pre 33 walkers known fact that most are known for weak strikes.
    Yet they get graded differently then their post 33 counter parts.

    And that's just a few.
