Why do we get some many non and new collectors posting common cents on our boards?

There are four (4) types of people in the world...

    1. He who knows, and knows that he knows
    2. He who knows, but knows not that he knows
    3. He who knows not, and knows that he knows not
    4. He who knows not, but knows not that he knows not

    Which one are you again?

This last part of the thread about knowing what we know and do not know reminds me of a teaching in the Talmud (Mishna) which states:

“There are four types of temperaments. One who is quick to become angry and quick to calm down — his gain is outweighed by his loss. One who is slow to become angry and slow to calm down — his loss is outweighed by his gain. One who is slow to become angry and quick to calm down is pious. One who is quick to become angry and slow to calm down is wicked.”

How is this coin-related? Well perhaps it is not a coin, but certainly it is a golden nugget!

Most new CTers don't know what they have or where to begin.
That's why they come to CoinTalk.
Sometimes we get trolls, but that's rare.

I have collected and read about coins for more years than I care to say. The day that I can say I know EVERYTHING about coins and currency and don't need to ask someone with more knowledge is the day that the hobby has died for me. I am not ashamed to ask even a stupid question if I don't know the answer.

I agree even if you forgot, There shouldn't be a stupid question,

Unless there were 5 other threads on the same subject that day.;):)
