The coins from the RCM puts them on an equal level with all the mass "colorized" coin producers. They look more like souvenir tokens.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has a habit of selling pieces that are made to look like coins, but are not intended for circulation.Have I ever found a Lord of the Rings piece denominated $1 in circulation? No way! It is because the R.B.N.Z. is selling them through the post offices at prices such as NZ$29.95 & NZ$39.95.

New Zealand collectors have been ripped off big time by the R.B.N.Z. for years.I myself wouldn't buy the medal-coins,because they're not circulation pieces.

I know that WhispTech from Canada would buy them.He collects world medal-coins,especially the ones from Canada.
