Why do $2s always wear strangely?

ive noticed that most $2 bills have odd wear patterns. A circulated $2 just feels different than a circulated anything else.
For example, this one has strangely accentuated folds.

People don't spend them and keep them folded in their wallets for a long time.

Many fold them twice so they won't spend it as a one, or to save it.

a novelty really, some people have the deception that they are rare and hard to get
or somehow valuable nothing could be farther from the truth, the bank always has a
    nice supply on hand :)

I like to get two's at my bank. The tellers are usually happy to be rid of them, they allways pull them out from the back of their drawer. I just spend them to get them back in circulation. I enjoy some of the reactions I get from cashiers. I save some of the crispy ones, but i would not hesitate to spend them all if need be.

I disagree with everyone, that's not a mint error.

In the Hispanic community, those who are superstitious will take a $2.00 Bill and fold it in half the long way then roll it into a tube form. They would place the bill onto the tusk of a small ceramic elephant sculpture. Then the elephant would always face towards the entrance of their homes. This was done to ward off evil spirits and/or to bring good fortune to whoever rubbed the elephant. Sounds crazy but it's true. :wacky:
