I was searching through some old family photos and I found a picture dated 1948 of my grandfather and a Welshie. After Fiona passed we swore we wouldn&#039;t get another dog. We found a 7 year old dog in Virginia from the same kennel that produced a national champion named Dazzle. Rosie had given birth to three litters and the breeder was ready to let her go. It was an eight hour drive to make our little family complete again. We missed the pitter patter of paws on the floor and the unconditional love you get from a dog, well at least as long you give them a biscuit when they ask. They are definitely very energetic dogs, but trainable and will keep you laughing all the time with their antics. Rosie is our 4th Welshie and while we still grieve for Fiona, Rosie has snuggled her way into our hearts.
