You have 77 posts in one day on your topic. Some of those posts are rather lengthy and very valid arguments on either side of the question. How can you make a statement like the one above when people have taken time out of their lives to help you understand how they feel on the topic? You should be thanking those that have given you an honest opinion and accept the fact that not everyone can take the topic seriously.

As far as the satire - what did you expect based on your question and position? You cannot engage a group on a topic such as this and not expect people to poke a little fun at you as a result. I hope you really are not offended and life shouldn't always be serious - as it is too short! BTW: Sometimes the very good answers are the absurd ones as it makes you think about why someone would answer in such a way.

Any coin that is not from Germany or Euroland is foreign, of course. What a dumb question. :D

An attempt at starting a spelling flame? Well, then ... nah, I'm too tired. And kind of full - maybe I overate tonight.

Take it this way, if this thread was create 5 years ago, it would have made sense. Now it isn't. Take a look at the Russian, Polish, Korean coinages and perhaps plenty more - they have been shooting a rate much faster than most returns you can have on US coins.
