the law is secondary, to the money.
without the law, there can be money.
without the money, there can not be law.

what is the money is not answered there in the law.

I thought that if you looked out at the horizon over the ocean, you can sort of see that it curves.

    • If you can see the horizon, you can see the curvature of the earth.
      William Barrett, London, UK
    • One can see the effect of the curvature of the earth quite easily. A ship on the horizon moving toward the viewer will gradually appear with the masts first, followed by the superstructure, then the hull.
      David, Claremont, CA, USA
    • The fact that there is a pronounced horizon tells us that the earth must be curved.
      Les Stennett, Woodplumpton, Preston
    • It is possible to see the effect of the curvature of the earth from sea level (ships disappearing over the horizon). To actually see the curvature directly (ie to be able to see the horizon as an arc, rather than a straight line) requires an altitude of over 50,000 feet.
      Simon Blake, Shrewsbury, England

This is 100% WRONG! The law is the one and ONLY place where the essential nature of money is found. There can be law without money, but money simply fundamentally CANNOT EXIST without law.

Even to write a law requires a pen/pencil/computer/etc which requires money which requires EFFORT.
If you have no one cent in your pocket, it means you have not spent enough effort YET.

As a fleet sailor in the U.S. Navy nearly fifty years ago I can attest to that. We were told that the horizon was approximately 12 miles away.

Science scholars of 500 years ago were saying "Earth is Flat!!!!!"

Science scholars have changed... They are saying now "Earth is Round!!!!"
Religious scholars revisited this topic nowadays as it didn't fit their religious books and they saying it again: "Earth is flat!!!!!"
Science scholars now telling the truth "Earth is Round"...

But... Science scholars have lost their credits.
They have never questioned Why mankind has never visited the Moon again after the first visit 50 years ago.

Give more money to them, science or religious scholars too will tell you what you want to hear.

We haven’t been to the moon since the early 1970’s for one reason - scientists are not in charge of deciding what we do. People like those I work for are - and they are among the most ignorant useless people we have.

A lawyer who sits in the office next to mine put it best just yesterday - our bosses lie to voters because voters are simpletons and want to be lied to.

Who decides? Ignorant bosses? Did those bosses tell scientists "lets not go to the Moon of Earth again, but, lets go to "Deimos", the moon of Mars"?

Money spent in Moon landing project between 1961-1968: Roughly $25 billion.
Money spent in Space research projects between 2001-2008: Roughly $125 billion.
    https://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2010/feb/01/nasa-budgets-us-spending-space-travel

After 40 years later, with the newer technology in 2008 than that in 1968 which is also cheaper than 1968, $5 billion of $125 billion could be spent on visiting the Moon again. Scientists who have proposed projects and have got $125 billion haven't proposed any another Moon visiting project which would cost $5 billion only? Have they proposed, but, the bosses haven't given $5 billion while they have given $125 billion for other planets? Yes, those bosses must be wondering about "Deimos" moon of the Mars (lol).

I believe this has strayed far enough off topic to just call it quits.
