Spent some time today organizing my coin mess. After going through a lot of what I have, sorting them, and putting them away......I started to wonder why I am keeping so many, that in reality are nice, but not going to help me much in retirement. I have a couple rolls of MS 70's 80' and early 90's MS quarters. Rolls of pre 1960 nickels...A roll of variety quarters (in god we rust, pooping horse, spitting horse etc..). Many unopened rolls of single type quarters from 2017-2021. (ie all 2019 lowell P's etc). A whole roll of Bicentennial Quarters, album toned, and MS condition from a collection dump I got at the bank(granted THOSE are cool). But many things I SHOULD dump but just can't bring myself to do. I have over $100 in common Ikes, which I just can't part with.....I have the 40%ers set aside, but the rest are stashed away for some reason! I have a few rolls of MS states quarters which I have found 1 at a time, not really valuable, but I kept them because they are in excellent condition. A roll of 2009 quarters because of low mintage numbers. Granted a few are in excellent condition, and keepers, but I still keep them all.

I have gotten better, and dumped a few things I collected early on and saved, but have a hard time getting rid of other stuff I really can think of no good reason to keep. Anybody else have that problem?
