I haven't missed a summer or winter ANA in quite a few years, and yes, families do attend! I dressed up as a pirate for Treasure Trivia at the winter ANA in Atlanta a couple of years back for the kids, who were a hoot.</p><p><br /></p><p>This year's is across the street from DISNEYLAND, for crying out loud. Want the ANA to come to a town? Ask for it. But you better have the volunteer base, not just collectors, to support it.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here's another rub: many cities' Convention Bureaus don't WANT the ANA convention because it's too small.</p><p><br /></p><p>I'm darned excited to be coming to Anaheim, and so is my 21-year-old son.
