Who wants to play "Raised" or "Recessed" & "Mint Made" or "Not?"

This first. This is a collar break. Planchet metal filled the space. The entire lump is raised with the part on the right raised a little more. One thing you should have noticed if you have an eye for detail is the dark patch of dirt at the right that was trapped by the raised area.



This is the same thing, a collar break on a reeded edge. The entire lump is raised; however, there is a smashed down area at the base that makes the lump "look" like it may be depressed. At the top of the lump, metal goes up over the edge.


Different view. Not how the collar break caused a loss of metal that would normally make up the coin's rim.
