Who says the old coins aren't circulating?

    I found a nearly slick 1890 dated V nick in a roll search last year - oldest nickel I have found. Have to wonder if it was a re-circ experiment.

    I spend any series I don't specfically collect. This includes all business strikes less than 100 years old. If I run across old silver from a dime upwards, I'll put it aside. That hasn't happened in years now.
