Here are a couple of my proof finds in circulation over the past 2 years. Yes, that is a silver proof! The 1985 spent some time in acetone, but unfortunately the schmoo on the reverse at 6 is not coming out. otherwise, the mirror is much much better than any of the other two coins.
@Evan Saltis - I dunno, but I know of an IoM Crown with a cute cat (I'm a cat guy, in case you hadn't noticed ;P )
You can find dogs on coins going as far back as the Roman Republic and ancient Greece. However, when it comes to modern coins, I can only think of this pre-decimal Irish 6d.
That is very true if you consider NIFC issues; however, if you consider anything remotely modern that was issued for circulation, you'd be extremely hard-pressed.
Many bullion year of the dog coins. and other coins... Gibraltar... Russia Tuvalu colorized... These are not my coins.
San Marino Dog and cat. I have this coin, but this photo is not mine. all of these were found doing a search on Ebay ... Dog
Thanks @Evan Saltis . Finally a puppy thread . I unfortunately am out of doggie coins but I have my Puppy Pic when he was 3 mo. old ( Chihuahua / terrier mix) . He was so small, we had to use a kitten "collar" and leash .
