No, it means that we all need to get over the expectation that any reference, book or online, has everything. Wildwinds has a small fraction of every coin ever made. It is a wonderful resource but it is not the only resource needed if you are going to study these coins to an extreme level. RIC is a wonderful set of ten volumes which would take up ten times the shelfspace if it included everything known by specialists about the coins it covers. I might add that cheap coins like late Roman AE4 are harder to find online than high dollar items. Much of the material we have is supplied by big dealers who don't do much with things worth $25.
