Who is Gordon S. Parry?

I recently purchased a coin that came from Gordon S. Parry Collection. Anyone know any biographical info on this guy? He's sold some outstanding pieces over the years through CNG.

I really do not know the answer, but in searching the web I found a Baron Gordon S. Parry, a Welshman from Neyland in the County of Dyfed, 30 November 1925 – 1 September 2004. I'm just wondering if it is the same person, but I can find nothing that suggests he was a numismatist.

 

Interesting. Parry's collection started to be sold off in 2008. I suppose it could be him.
