I bought a few Whitman folders for my Jefferson nickles and Buffalo nickles. The ports are too small. After trying to push the coins into the slots with all my weight behind it, they just won't go in. I think this is due to quality control issues and the fact that they're made in China these days. I also bought a couple of Lincoln Cent and Roosevelt Dime folders, and they are fine. It takes some pressure to get the coins seated, but your thumbs aren't numb and sore after 10 minutes. I got these mail order from a discount house on the web. I'm not going to get my money back from them, I know. The $2.75 apiece isn't going to break me, but I'm nervous now about buying these same folders from a different supplier. If it is a quality problem I could end up with more junk. Anyone else have problems with these Whitman folders?
