Okay, I've held off long enough to agree with so many others. JUST collect coins. Read about them. Learn about them. Look at all of the great advice you get on CoinTalk. I know that many "preach" about not investing but on the other hand if you know your coins well enough and see a great deal (and can afford it) go for it! There are SO many types of coins out there and ALL are pretty cool in one way or another. I am a 2 Cent Junkie. It took me about 30 years to decide to complete that set and it's business strikes only. Yeah, now I'm playing with 3 Cent Silver, 3 Cent Nickel and 20 cent pieces but if I see a nice half cent, barber coin, bust coin, standing liberty etc. etc. etc. and the price is right there's a good chance I'll buy it. Just recently switched gears to semi key Lincolns as I think they'll continue to go up. Am I a Lincoln nut? No, but if I can get decent examples, make a few bucks in the future and toss it into something else then I'm good with it. Don't get me wrong if another coin pops up I'll abandon the Lincolns. I guess if you really get down to it this is why COIN COLLECTING ROCKS!
