Fine, it is none of my business, but you should ask if your friend is the designated heir for them or if someone else was the official heir. If so, you may have a problem. Be sure to get a receipt with his name on it as owner.
Okay, I had that one coming, but like Jim said, you'd better make sure that your buddy was legally entitled to those coins. You might just find an officer knocking on your door one day with a warrant seeking the return of the coins, and your "buddy" might just leave you holding the bag. Chris
