Below are two of the same pics of the same coin. I labeled them differently, and i'm not sure which I like better. #1 copied text from the NGC label and put it at the bottom of the pic. #2 Used whole pic of NGC label for pic.
I think the fact that it shows the "prongs" is enough. I don't think and other companies use it in their slabs. In the first pic the text is right from the NGC label, so it is the same font, etc.
I am not sure how many people know that prongs are NGC only. Either way, I think cropping out the coin makes an immense improvement. Here is one way I like it (this is your coin).
Yeah the way Gbroke did it is the way I would suggest. It looks the most professional plus not everyone is going to associate the little side prongs with NGC. Its better to be crystal clear and know that everyone understands. Then to be slightly vague and assume they understand.
Ethan, I realize I didn't actually answer your question about which one is better. I would chosoe the first one, but modify it a little. i can tell you just cut out the text from the label. The edges of the font are rough. At the very minimum you should just retype it yourself. If you dont want to do all the editing, my suggestion is to do something like this.
i like the #2 pic, makes me want to buy it more, but i like the label of #1 better. don't know why, just a personal preference.
I like #2 because it has the actual NGC label. However, I have heard to be careful not to publicize the exact serial number as someone can more easily duplicate it. TC
I'm curious as to why everyone is protective of serial numbers? They can be found on Heritage, Teletrade, Ebay, etc...
