That I dont know,Lehigh. All I know is that if you put a slabbed coin in a ziplock with a chunk of sulfur it will tone through the slab. From my experience, it usually turns out unattractive like the coins pictured. Variations to this would most likely be able to produce about any effect. That's all I know, looks like experimental cast offs to me. People run coin doctoring experiments (such as what dip makes what color)here on cointalk all the time, just knowing this can be done opened my eyes a bit, not gonna bring it up again.

If they are in PCGS MS66 holders driving $500 price tags, how are they cast offs? And again, the chunk of sulfur emits a gas which causes the slabbed coin to tone. But how do you control part of the coin in order to make it remain untoned? I have yet to be impressed by any admitted coin doctoring experiment by CT members or otherwise, even those who swear they are great at it like ronterry.

They're not driving a $500 price tag. 10 minutes to last call - better pick a chick and head for the door.

  7. If that's the only two chicks to choose from, sounds like a night with Palmela Handerson.

Cheaper in the long run too.

Don't like either one. Uneven and ugly toning pattern.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

I would pass on both. The toning is right at the point of terminal. I don't like them. But let's give Detecto the choice.

That's a fine bunch o' halves, talkcoin! It seems to me that they all exhibit NT patterns, as far as I've learned so far. None of them have the weirdness of the two I posted.

$250??????? I paid half of that for some of the nicest that Shane had on his auctions. That is way out of line for the lack of eye appeal of those two coins!

Why can't people just play along for crying out loud? No choice is great, but just make one.

    I choose B.

The gloved hand science experiment explanation is perfect. I can't believe these got slabbed.

They are $10 coins to me.
