I currently have two Morgan dollars, and they both seem to be in AU-MS condition. One is graded and the other is not.

    Added both sides.

Trying to determine if I should grade this coin, as grading is pretty expensive.

To be able to get the most accurate advice, it would be best to take a picture of front and back of each coin, as close as possible without being blurred,

I would not have the coin graded. The fees are about the value of the coin.

I agree with Larry. The coin in the flip is not worth sending in for grading. 1896 P can easily be found in MS65 for below $200. IMO, your coin still exhibits nice mint luster from what I can gather from the photos, but those toning blotches considerably reduce the eye appeal of the coin.

I would keep it raw and store it properly.
