I prefer Coin World though Coinage is certainly close. I see Coinage in the Supermarket, which I buy monthly. I am hoping to get a subscription soon to make it easier and cheaper to acquire each issue. I like to read both Coin World and Coinage, both are good and interesting. I seem to find more US coin related coin articles in Coinage and enjoy "Coin Capsule" in Coinage. Coin World seems to have more coin news such as current auctions, and a good selection of articles related to all sorts of coins including modern coins, ancient coins, world coins, etc. I found Coin World to help diverse my coin knowledge collection overall, making me more interested in world coins. It depends on what you like, if you are a strong US collector with not much interest in much else than I would chose Coinage. Though if you are interested in general coin related literature I would suggest reading Coin World. I recently read an issue of Coin World Weekly, which a coin dealer gave to me after he read. I found it very interesting to read with plenty of current coin related news, I think I might want to subscribe to it to have more to read. If you have not read any magazines I suggest to go to the store and find one to try and see if you like, I find that they are a good companion to any numismatist.

Unrelated but I have a 1968 Issue of Coinage which I will sometime post, very similar to the current ones, talking about new releases and Coin News (such as last month to redeem silver certificates and 1968 proof sets). I found it when a friend let me take what I wanted from her recently deceased husband. According to her there were many magazines, along with some other stuff she perceived trash, which she threw away quite some time before I came. The one I was able to save was hidden inside a box of old maps dating from the 1920's-1970's, along with an editor signed 1952 Edition of the "Scientific American".
