Hi, There are many great dealers out there. Depending on the type of coins you want, there are dealers that are excellent and handle that type of coin. One of my absolute favorite dealers is a gentelman named Dennis Eckenrode in Cleona, PA. This former State trooper is the most honest and helpful coin dealer I have had the recent experience to work with. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the phenomenal service Dennis is accustomed to providing!! Have Fun, Bill
Paul Sims, Skyline, Coast to Coast, and Coin Depot are some of the worst in the business. Pretty much all of the full page advertisers in Coin World who do not sell slabbed coins are complete ripoffs. 99% of their coins are cleaned and overgraded. In my opinion the worst of them all is John Paul Sarosi. PM me if you want more information on these ripoffs. Charlie
I have gotten coins from Paul Sims...they were fine but I have been hearing some bad things about him....I think it was John Sarosi that I called once...didn't get a good feeling about it so I wouldn't buy ..... Speedy
I also go to a local dealer, the only one around. Very friendly family owned business that ive known for years.
I've had good luck with mintproducts.com for buying, well, mint products. Other than mint products, I wouldn't buy a non-slabbed coin from an internet dealer.
Marlon, Fox Vally Coins Auctions. He is the niceist coin dealer I have ever met, always explaining thing. He even gave me a $25.00 gift5 certificate to his store for christmas last year!
