'Steppy' appears to have a mark across the 2 lower steps between C and E and to the right of E.

I like the toner, shame about that nasty gash.

I like both the Toner & the Steppy. Either would be a nice addition to any album. I love it when they tone blue though. Number two has deterioration issues, so I would eliminate that because of the orange peel effect and machine doubling. For the poll I picked #1.

I like the steppy, just add some toning and Bob's your uncle ;)

The 'gash' is relatively trivial in my view.

No1 for me. Steppy is a nice coin but I prefer the toner

Eye appeal on number 1 is great, but that hit on the reverse right in the focal area really ruins it for me. I don't like the eye appeal of number 2. "Steppy" is the best of the three; positive eye appeal with no major distractions.

Man, I feel like a complete jerk for saying this...but for my tastes...and based off the Jeffersons you've shared...my answer would be D (none of the above.)

I think the obverse of #1 is about as good as it's going to get for a 1963, but that huge gash right in the middle of the reverse is just too distracting. #2 just has way too many distracting marks on both sides for my taste, and no interesting color/patina to cover them up. The fuller steps on #3 are nice, but I feel like the luster just isn't there enough to overcome the multiple small marks on the obverse.

If I had to choose, I'd flip a coin between #1 and #3 with maybe a slight preference for #1 (unless #3 was sent in and received the FS designation.)

#3 for me with #1 a close second. If were not for that reverse mark on Monticello #1 would be my choice.

Slight lean for #1 for me based on best overall eye appeal

    grade guesses:
    1) MS 66
    2) MS 66
    3) MS 65 5fs

If it wasn’t for the gash I would pick #1. I’ll have to go with steppy. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. Would come down to in hand eye appeal.
    1. 67
    2. 66

Ignoring the steps, I feel the third one simply looks better struck, with better definition. Its my choice. I will always choose a better struck coin over a softer one with technically fewer dings. Just my choice.

I think the Steppy is the best of the three and it’s close to blast white, which I like.

#1 for me! Like the toner!! All 3 have some minor problems though, and 1963 is newer than I collect, so I don't think I would buy any of them!!!

    #3 was my vote.

#1 67 I don’t think they penalized it for the reverse hit

#2 66 too many contact marks for 67

#3 66+ FS I think the luster just misses 67
