Haven't seen one in almost never, with more and more people using plastic current is becoming more obsolete everyday,
When I was working out of town, I did a big push to hit the comma club (George score of over 1,000). On my way between worksites I would stop at different banks and get straps to stamp. I even washed and ironed really ratty bills (some of which got hits 9 years later) Before and after, I've spent time marking bills and I've not marked bills.
By the way , I recovered my list of bills . It was in "limbo" I guess during their Maintenance Dl's .
This reminded me to check, I haven't looked at my Where's George account in a long time. I do have 1 new hit, in Lubbock TX. I only have about 30 bills out there, that's not near enough to make for much activity....
I think Vegas is a great place to do this, I am eager to get to it already ordered my stamp and already have a couple straps ready to go
Hello Everyone! WheresGeorge.com never deletes data or purges accounts. If you have trouble finding an old account, please use the "Contact Form" at the link below, and include any and all email addresses you might have used, and I'll locate your account and let you know how to login. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/contact-us-form.php As I said, accounts are never purged, but the generated reports of your bills do age out and need to be regenerated. Your bills and data are safe and never deleted.
Maybe purged is the wrong word. If you read the rest of my post you will see that I stated how I brought the info back on board.
I was wondering, maybe someone can answer this question for me, I heard that banks shred notes that are written or marked on, since I almost always use my AMEX for everything the only time I use cash is when I make deposits does anybody have any information on this ?
I have really soaked my local bank with over 100 in the past few weeks...LOL I did have two hits, and the message was that there was a bank teller held these for him, but 2 out of 100, those are pretty steep odds, made a trip down to California and spread some out in the Orange County area mostly at gas stations and tips at restaurants, so will see what the next week or two will bring.
I'm still waiting from entries I did in August !! I even did a $5 on accident . I must of been loopy that Morning, LOL
No Mint has nothing to do with paper money. It's printed by BEP (Bureau of Engraving and Printing) and circulation is controlled via the FED (Federal Reserve Banks). Unfit currency is sent by the various banks back to the FED to be destroyed. BEP and the mint are - at best - the Yankees and the Mets. They might play in the same sport (money), but except maybe once a year they never play together.
