Where's George? contest-free $1 bill

you do know, thats against the rules of wheresgeorge. it says on the rules bill cannot be mailed, because that in not natural circualtion. so what you guys are doing is defeating the purpose of wheresgeorge. whersgeorge is a website that tracks where bills go. if you spend it, it will be natural circualtion. if its mailed, you broke the rules. i'm not trying to stop you from mailing it, i'm just saying its just something to think about.

So what can they do, shoot me? If you want to talk about breaking rules how about all the currency that gets altered by writing or stamping wheresgeorge on the bills? That's against the federal law.
So far Twiggs has not sent me her address.

i think that bill does not need to be mailed. here is proof WG? is not illegal. you can even talk to hank if you don't believe me. he said as long as you don't mark over the secitity features, you are fine. just stay away from the strip, series, and serial number. also the "ghost". so thats my opinion. i don't think the bill should be mailed.

Just to let everyone know...

George safely arrived in Ontario Canada and registered. He will be spending the next 2 weeks resting before heading to a new location. From there George will make his way back home.

Come on... it was a fun contest. It's a buck, now one that will be circulated all over Ontario and from there god only knows where.

i'm just frustrated with this because with wheresgeorge, it is hard to get hits from different countries. if that were my bill (which it might) i would be upset to know that was mailed and not natural circualtion. i am just making a point. hank dosn't like the idea of mailing bills, because that defeats the purpose of wheresgeorge. well, i guess its too late now! just think, if everyone did this, wheresgeorge would be pointless.:desk:

 

it wouldnt make it pointles at all .. you would still get to see all the nice places George visited. I mean, how many notes are taking on vacation across the country or to other countries and spent or converted... alot of them could be WG notes ... that doesnt ruin the WG concept at all ..

 

I agree, if it were my bill I think it would be neat to see it circulated all over Canada rather than all over Pittsburgh. I wouldn't care how it got there, just that it was circulated from there. Just remember there are bigger issues in life than the circulation of a bill, so please keep it all in perspective.

My God man you are really getting worked up over this.
What if I bought some small item by mail like a pencil.
What if I mailed a where'sgeorge bill to pay for it? Would that be any better for your neurotic concerns?
As stated in my first post; the reason for doing this is because the only other wheresgeorge I ever had just died with zero hits for years.
I don't know where you live but I live in America. And I think I have enough freedom here to do as I please with a stinkin dollar bill (no matter what is stamped on it).
This is one bill out of how many thousands? Don't let it cause a nervous breakdown!
