Everyone has there own taste one mans mans garbage is another’s treasure. Some of us are just starting our collections and I’m sure when you all started yours there was a certain coin or error that was sought after about the rest. Yes 99.9% of the time a person claims to have a rare error that have not done there homework well enough if at all I have been guilty of it but learned through the patience of most everyone here to check your discoveries thoroughly before causing a ruckus’s and not to use YouTube lol. But as Tommy said encouragement is key I believe and I’m not saying to beat around the bush or play patty cake so not to offend if people can’t take criticism or the straight truth there is nothing anyone can do to change that and most now are very sensitive. I am a youngster most of you would say but I do not take a lot if anything to heart yes I have thought some where very impatient or rude immediately didn’t bother me but It would most and it would Deter them from enjoying there hobby I would kind of say so be it more for us haha. I recently found a Doubled coin and I knew it was not a million dollar one but I was extatic. It was one of the first errors I had learned about it is no 55 cent but personally I don’t do this for the money and to be truethful if I did find a big money error I would have a very hard time selling it would I though possibly probably because my wife would make me. But my point is not everyone is looking to get rich quick some are but to each his own I have notice anytime I have posted a thread and had questions the majority of the Time the first thing out of mouths are it’s not worth anything or won’t bring a big premium and to me personally that is the biggest insult on here let the person ask the worth/value before you crush there plans for the money lol. This is not an angry rant by any means just my experience so far. I’m glad I joined I have learned alot
